Previous work

In summer 2022, I worked for the Dallas Morning News as a breaking news intern.

The summer prior in 2021, I worked for Think on KERA, as an intern, where I would curate Twitter content and pitch show ideas weekly.

While getting my degree, I worked for The Shorthorn, UT-Arlington’s student newspaper, for all four years from 2018 to 2022. I oversaw a staff of about 50 people my senior year as editor-in-chief.

Check out some of my work down below.

The end of Roe v. Wade is complicated for leaders of nonprofits that aim to help women complete their pregnancies and care for babies.

  • National tampon shortage prompts shoppers to stock up, puts pressure on nonprofits

The results are meager supplies at stores and reduced donations to organizations that help low-income women access menstrual products.

  • Check Out These Photos Centering Latino Skaters At Fort Worth’s Marine Park

In his first solo exhibition, Marine Park, on display at the Latino Cultural Center in Dallas, Raul Rodriguez turns his lens to a community of skaters in the Northside of Fort Worth, where he grew up.
